Press Release: Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment (ACME) Announces New Name, New Web Site, New Resources for Building Better Marriages

Orlando, FL (July 8, 2010) – The Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment (ACME) today announced the official launch of the organization’s new name, Better Marriages, and web site at the opening of the 14th Annual Smart Marriages® Conference in Orlando, Florida. Better Marriages is based on the successful framework for marriage enrichment built by David and Vera Mace in 1973. The organization stresses couple dialogue and marriage enrichment groups (MEGs) as the foundation for educating couples and building relationships.

As part of the organization’s new web site, Better Marriages’ renowned library of couple resources is now available online and easily downloadable for couples, counselors or marriage group leaders including:

– Get Going and Grow: An 8-Month Curriculum for Marriage Enrichment Groups

In addition, more programs will become available over the next six to twelve months including a marriage mentoring program currently in pilot development in Texas.
